Lineworker, Cable Jointer, Crane Borer Operator

 

THE ROLE

Join a respected ASP 1 and ASP 2 as an experienced Lineworker, Cable Jointer or Crane Borer Operator. Develop your career with a progressive utilities infrastructure and civil engineering company.

Be involved in the installation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure spanning transmission (22kV to 132kV), distribution (LV and HV), substations, underground conduits and pits, control panels, street lighting, and private networks.

ABOUT YOU

  • Lineworkers must have a Certificate III Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) – Distribution Overhead qualification or Australian Lineworker Trade qualification equivalent
  • Cable Jointers must have a polymeric Cable Jointing qualification. A paper lead Cable Jointing qualification is advantageous.
  • Valid Electrical Safety Rules accreditation and other relevant statutory training
  • High Risk Licences: EWP/WP, Forklift (LF), Dogman (DG), Rigging (RB) preferred
  • Asbestos Awareness ticket
  • Current First Aid/Senior First AId
  • Construction Industry Induction card (white card)
  • HR or HC drivers licence
  • Safety approach and strong work ethic
  • Reliable and committed
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen
